Sermorelin is a synthetic 29-amino acid GHRH analog that stimulates the pituitary gland to produce and secrete endogenous growth hormone. It preserves the neuroendocrine axis through negative feedback regulation, promotes episodic GH release mimicking natural patterns, increases pituitary gene transcription of GH mRNA, and slows age-related hypophyseal hormone decline.
