LL-37 is an antimicrobial peptide produced by epithelial cells and immune cells. It disrupts bacterial membranes, modulates immune responses by attracting neutrophils and monocytes, promotes wound healing through keratinocyte migration and angiogenesis, and exhibits broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
