Mechanism of Action

BPC-157 is a pentadecapeptide derived from gastric juice that promotes healing through multiple mechanisms: stimulates angiogenesis via VEGF and NO pathways, enhances fibroblast activity and collagen synthesis through FAK-paxillin signaling, increases growth hormone receptor expression, reduces pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6, IFN-γ), shifts macrophages from M1 to M2 phenotype, enhances eNOS activity for cytoprotection, and supports nerve regeneration by balancing neurotransmitters.
