Argireline is a hexapeptide that mimics the N-terminal end of SNAP-25, inhibiting the SNARE complex formation. This reduces neurotransmitter release at the neuromuscular junction, decreasing muscle contractions that cause expression lines. Often called 'Botox in a bottle' for its muscle-relaxing effects without injections.
