AOD-9604 is a synthetic peptide fragment (176-191) of human growth hormone that selectively activates beta-3 adrenergic receptors in adipose tissue. It promotes lipolysis (fat breakdown), inhibits lipogenesis (fat formation), enhances fat oxidation and energy expenditure, and does not elevate IGF-1 or affect glucose homeostasis, avoiding systemic HGH effects.
