ACE-031 is a soluble form of the activin receptor type IIB that acts as a decoy receptor, binding and neutralizing myostatin, activin, and other TGF-β family members. By blocking these muscle growth inhibitors, it promotes significant increases in muscle mass, strength, and potentially bone density.
